Operating within Coronavirus Guidelines
Like all businesses we’ve had to make changes in unprecedented circumstances and in very uncertain times. Needless to say that all changes are with a view to everyone’s safety – and trying to correctly follow the guidelines. Your help and support for our small business is most appreciated (as it always is!)

Reopening 2nd December
We will be fully reopening for all customers as from 2nd December.
No booking required
We are not operating a booking system and have reverted to our usual ‘walk-in’ system. To date we’ve not had too many periods whereby customers have had to queue, but as we are restricted for space, it may be necessary to ask you to wait to wait. This may be outside if the weather is fine, or we do have room in our second workshop unit.
As we are restricted to the number of people we can have in at one time we reluctantly have to ask our customers to attend on their own rather than with friends, family groups or children.
Collecting Orders (2nd December)
You do not need an appointment to collect your finished order. (We are no longer required to operate the Click & Collect system). You can collect at anytime during our normal working hours.
Please wear a face mask when you visit. We all hate them, but it is what it is!
Social distancing provisions
We have changed the layout of the workshop to present a ‘counter’ arrangement which offers a safe distance between our staff, and you, the customer. This includes some appropriate screening and the restriction of previously open workshop areas. For the foreseeable, we will handle all frame chevron and mount samples to minimise any handling and cross contamination.
If you’d prefer to minimise personal contact at the time of collection, we are able to arrange pre collection payment via BACS, phone, PayPal, or SagePay. Please contact us once you receive your ‘Order Ready’ notification.
Handover on Collection
We would like to hand over all finished work as wrapped. Please let us know if you particularly need to inspect the pieces whilst with us. We will offer a ‘car park collection’ where we’ll bring any finished pieces out to your car. Please pop your head in to our workshop when collecting to request this. Please see our Collections Page for more details.
We are providing hand sanitising gel for staff and customers and we would ask our customers to use this. We will also provide disposable gloves for everyone’s use. If appropriate we will adopt the use of face masks for us and our staff. We know that our customers will use common sense and assist us with any hygiene ‘best practises’.
And finally . . . thank you!
These are tricky times for small businesses such as ours, so thanks again for your understanding. We really apprciate the support our customers have given us throughout this pandemic. You may be interested to know that we have been able to retain and fully support all our lovely staff.
